THE RESTAURANT TEAM
ROLE: CHEF DE PARTIE

We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Curious Brewery in Ashford, Kent.

We do that by brewing with the best quality ingredients at our state-of-the-art brewery to make great-tasting beer and cider. We aim to improve our beer and our team by continually developing, training, questioning our methods, and staying forever curious.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and stock kitchen areas ahead of service.
- Manage a designated section during service to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Demonstrate competence in all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Report directly to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
- Ensure dishes are prepared to the required specifications and quality standards.
- Exhibit a proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks.
- Provide support to the Head and Sous Chefs with additional kitchen responsibilities as needed.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- At least 1 year of kitchen experience with a passion for food and strong cooking skills.
- Calm and methodical approach, able to handle challenges in food production effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Highly organised, capable of multitasking under pressure, with strong attention to detail.
- High standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
- Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods.
- Food safety and hygiene qualifications preferred.

Schedule:
- Flexible shifts (8 to 10 hours).
- Full Time – minimum 30hrs per week (can be flexible with hours, part time considered)
- Day shifts, holiday shifts, and weekend availability required.
